DANCING HOUSE

DANCING HOUSE

Also named as a Fred and Ginger building, It was built by the architect Vlado Milunič in cooperation with Canadian-American architect Frank Gehry in 1996 on the bank of the river Vltava, and the design sure was very controversial at the time for the location of the building, not so far from the historical center. President Václav Havel himself supported this project, in fact his apartment was neighbouring this building. There is a nice restaurant and bar on the roof top, both are offering an amazing view of the Prague Castle and the river.
